Baseball and science collide on Thursday, July 30, when the Portland Pickles partner with OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) to bring OMSI Night to Walker Stadium. The family-friendly event will feature hands-on science experiments, interactive demonstrations, STEM organizations, themed concessions, and Pickles baseball as the Pickles take on the Portland Rosebuds at 7:05 p.m.
Designed to inspire curiosity through play, OMSI Night transforms the ballpark into an interactive learning environment where families can explore science in a fun and unexpected setting. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., giving fans plenty of time to experience exhibits and activities throughout the concourse before first pitch.
As the Pickles enter the final stretch of the regular season, OMSI Night offers one of the summer’s last opportunities for families to enjoy an affordable evening of baseball while discovering hands-on STEM experiences from organizations across the Portland community.
Throughout the evening, fans can participate in interactive demonstrations and educational activities hosted by community partners stationed around Walker Stadium.
