Each year, Camp Fire celebrates Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® (AIK Day) on the third Thursday in March. Since its launch in 1997, AIK Day has inspired millions to share heartfelt messages with young people, reminding them of their unique value and potential. At Camp Fire Central Oregon, we’re proud to join this national celebration by hosting our own community event!
This year, our event will be on Sunday, March 16. We will provide free ice skating to the first 200 kids and will have activities, cake, and more. One of our activities will highlight our new Playworks program, which facilitates recess activities for local elementary schools. We will also have a fundraising raffle for Camp Fire Bucks.
🎂 Fun fact: This holiday also correlates with Camp Fire’s 115th birthday! 🎂
