Portland’s favorite family Halloween tradition is back! Northwest Children’s Theater’s Halloween Ball returns to The Judy October 10–25, and after selling out the past three years running, tickets won’t last long.

This isn’t just a show — it’s a full immersive Halloween experience built for kids and their grown-ups alike.

The event kicks off with a costume parade down The Judy’s Grand Staircase. From there, everyone heads into the Black Box theater and settles into oversized bean bag chairs for an interactive Halloween-themed show. Performers draw the whole audience in, making every kid feel like part of the action without ever feeling overwhelming.

Once the show is over, it’s time to dance! The cast leads a Halloween dance party packed with seasonal songs, goofy moves, and lots of laughs.

And don’t rush off once the music stops — save room for scary delicious Halloween treats at concessions before you head home.

The whole event runs about an hour, making it the perfect length for younger kids, and is best enjoyed by families with kids ages 4 and up. Families who’ve come back year after year say it’s become one of their favorite fall traditions — and it’s easy to see why.

Given how fast this event has sold out in the past, don’t wait to grab your spot. Tickets are on sale now for only $16, with performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am, 12:30pm & 3pm.
