As autumn descends, the air grows crisp, pumpkins glow warmly on doorsteps, and cozy nights beckon us to share some fun with loved ones. Want something fun to do? Enter the Boo Basket Party! It is a delightful collection of fall- and Halloween-themed goodies, designed to surprise and enchant. Recently, we had a fun little Boo Basket Party for my tween and her friends. It was pure joy!

What is a Boo Basket?

Imagine a basket brimming with sweet treats, cozy comforts, and thoughtful trinkets. Then tailor that basket to the recipient’s interests, perhaps baking essentials like cookie cutters and mixes, or a pampering assortment featuring bath bombs, scented candles, and soft socks. The goal? To share a little autumnal delight.

At our party, we invited guests to bring enough supplies for each person. You can set up long tables adorned with Halloween tablecloths and an array of decorations, including glitter, stickers, ribbons, and, of course, baskets. We used trick-or-treat pails for our baskets so they would be helpful later in the season.

From pumpkin-themed masterpieces to candy-filled creations wrapped in webs, each basket reflected the maker’s personality, spooky, sweet, and imaginative.

If you wanted to make the party even bigger (and better), you could do stations for face painting, cookie decorating, and even a mini costume parade. Or put on a favorite Halloween movie while they are crafting and creating. Enjoy hot apple cider, caramel corn, and Halloween cookies, all while crafting and connecting.
