Want a fun family event? Then it is time to make a plan and head to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. This yearly festival is a wonderful place to spend a few hours exploring with the family, on a date, or just by yourself.
The farm has been in business for decades. And in 1985, the Wooden Shoe Bulb Company opened the tulip fields to the public to increase flower and bulb sales directly to their customers. Since then, every spring, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival transforms the landscape into a vibrant tapestry of colors, attracting people from near and far. Known for its sprawling fields of tulips in every hue imaginable, this annual event is not just a feast for the eyes. It is truly a celebration of community, joy, and togetherness.

Recently, our own Emily Park from Oregon Kid highlighted the festival as one of Oregon’s Best Places to See Flowers this Spring. And she was right! The amount of tulips is mindblowing. And keep an eye out for the farm’s summer flowers as well in July and August.
