Located in McMinnville, this park is excellent for summer. Think about how many times you’ve been at a waterpark and gotten tired because of the overwhelming heat. That won’t happen at this waterpark because everything is indoors! No sunburns, no sweating, just tons of fun! The tickets are well-priced, and I’d recommend buying them online because they’re about seven dollars cheaper. They also have an excellent price for military members and veterans. They even have movies you can watch, including fan favorites like Over The Hedge and Surf’s Up! This is the park for you when you want to have the best time this summer. Keep reading, and I’ll tell you all the great things you can find here!

The Rides!

With slides and an aqua play area, this indoor park has everything your kids would want. I’d recommend the Sonic Boom and the Mach 1 for high-energy slides with dips, turns, and speed. The Tail Spin is fun, too, with bursts of light making its way through the tunnel with figure-eight turns. If you don’t like quick drops, the Nose Dive might be too much because it’s a high-thrill ride.

For those who love to slide but can’t handle the speed and thrill, they have a youth slide section that’s more mellow. There are fewer drops, less intensity, and more accessibility for younger audiences. However, if you want to avoid slides, they have a splashdown area and two pools you can relax in, making the day more soothing than intense.

The Milky Way Cafe

Now, if you’re anything like me, after all that sliding and swimming, your stomach will be making itself known. Thankfully, there is a fantastic cafe on sight, and the food is incredible. Like most attractions (zoos, theme parks), they offer souvenir cups and free refills on your visit. They also have a Siberian chill that is super yummy! The menu has everything kids would want, including pizza, hot dogs, nachos, and things of that nature, while offering wraps for adults. For dessert, the chocolate chip Belgian waffle is delicious. For a tropical treat, though, check out the tropical churro. It’s got a unique twist that is worth every penny.

For children, I recommend a pizza or hot dog meal. You can add bacon and jalapenos, which is good if you have children who like options or making the meal their own. I’d recommend the Caesar wrap or the turkey bacon ranch wrap for adults. The meat is tender (the turkey), and the ranch is flavorful (every park always has a unique way of making ranch, and this one tastes so good).

If you want to keep it healthier, they have hummus and fruit cups, but the wraps are the most nutritious meal option. Most of the food on the menu is savory and ideal for summer parties.

Let’s Get Virtual

The park also offers a virtual reality slide. It promises to add an innovative experience to your trip. It’s an additional charge, but they promise you’ll love the journey. Some warnings are that this isn’t recommended for children under seven and there is a weight limit, but if you meet the requirements, this is so fun because you genuinely feel like you’re on the slide. You think your stomach is dropping, and your heart is pounding the entire time!

Additional Information

There is no ATM on site here, so I’d recommend having cash or a card. They accept all major credit cards on-site, so if you’re worried about losing your money, I will bring a card and not worry about anything else. You can’t get your food, but you can bring water. Ideally, they want you to eat at the cafe. You can enjoy a picnic at the Grove north of where you park, but you can’t bring the cooler inside the park; you have to leave it in your car until you’re ready to eat.

You need to bring your towels, but they do provide life jackets. Another great thing about this park is that it allows service dogs (just not in the water) and tries to make this a good experience for everyone. You can also slide if you have prosthetics, but you have to meet the requirements set forth by the park because they want to ensure your safety.

Have Fun This Summer

Have fun this summer at one of the best indoor water parks around. You get great food and great rides. What could be better than that? Your kids will love every second, and you can experience high-intensity slides that will have you screaming with joy and fun!
